We take ours kayaking every weekend, and the waterproof backing means it dries off in minutes instead of smelling like a wet dog the whole ride home. The cactus print still looks sharp after a dozen saltwater splashes, too.

My dog rolled in mud right after a heavy rain and I just hosed the collar off — the no-stink backing actually works, no lingering wet dog smell at all. It's been two weeks of daily beach runs and it still looks brand new.

My dog rolled in something foul at the beach, and this collar came out of the rinse cycle smelling completely fresh—the no-stink backing is no joke. It's already been through two river dips and a downpour, and it's still sturdy and comfy for him.
